LYSANNE CURRIE
CEO and Editor in chief Lysanne Currie is CEO and Editor in Chief at Meet the Leader Ltd. She founded the company, a collective of specialist journalists and content creators, to help business leaders tell their own stories through ghost-writing, print, video and online. Formerly Editorial Director at Hachette UK, Editor in Chief at Sky and most recently Head of Content at the IoD and Editor in Chief of their glossy business magazine, Director, she continues to edit and write for a variety of business publications including CityAM, CA Magazine, Influence, Tempus, Robb Report UK, Said Business School Review and Investor Magazine.
BEHIYE HASSAN
Managing Editor Behiye Hassan is a writer and editor who specialises in small business, entrepreneurs, luxury and wellbeing. She has interviewed and profiled a range of directors and CEOs on their careers, businesses and leadership. She has also contributed to a range of entertainment and lifestyle magazines including Sky Magazine, Woman, The Luxury Spa Edit and Director Magazine.
RICHARD DUNNETT
Head of Content Richard is a journalist and multimedia editor with more than 20 years’ experience in external and internal communications. This includes four years as associate editor of Director magazine – where he interviewed entrepreneurs and business leaders – and more than three years as news editor within the internal communications department of the John Lewis Partnership (including Waitrose). Richard has also produced commercial content for the likes of the London Evening Standard and Independent newspapers. Earlier in his career, Richard worked within the entertainment and women’s lifestyle magazine sectors.
DEBORAH PETERS
Creative Director As Creative Director, Debs oversees the visual look of everything we work on and is responsible for booking our photographers, videographers and designers. With over 20 years of experience she has a huge portfolio of magazine launches and redesigns. She has headed up design teams across multiple sectors including teen, health and fitness, business, women's lifestyle, luxury and client contract publishing. Debs not only understands the power of visuals to emotionally engage with audiences and project brand values, but is also super organised with excellent attention to detail whether she is art directing a shoot, scouting locations or designing a website.
JO DUNLOP
Photo Editor Jo has over 25 years’ experience in celebrity, music, fashion, lifestyle, having produced and art-directed shoots everywhere from the UK to the USA, for brands including Smirnoff and Gillette, and artists from Beyonce to Coldplay and Kylie. Skilled in all aspects of artist liaison, accommodation booking, travel and overseeing artists requirements during shoots, her network of industry contacts is second to none; from top photographers such as Rankin, Marc Baptiste, Derrick Santini, to professional location specialists, top stylists and hair and makeup experts.
ISHANA SEWARD
Editorial Intern Ishana is currently reading Politics, Philosophy and Law at the University of Warwick. As part of the Young Reporter Scheme, she spent two years writing monthly articles for the online newspaper, 'This Is Local London’. After winning the opportunity to critically review the stage musical ‘Crazy For You’, she went on to submit her feature article, ‘Will humans survive the century?’ and was awarded commended. Her interest in storytelling continues and she hopes to branch into political journalism.
