Oceansky hybrid aircraft

Imagine a world in which aircraft were both quieter and had far fewer emissions; where travellers could get even closer to wildlife and migrating animals, without disturbing or harming them; and where, incredibly, climate change is actually being addressed through high-end, luxury travel. Imagine no more: fast-growing private jet company Oceansky is currently planning a pioneering expedition to the North Pole using a new type of hybrid aircraft technology, a helium airship called Airlander 10, launched at the Farnborough International Airshow in 2018. Oceansky, who deal in the high-end experiential travel market, have a passion for sustainable skies and innovative alternatives in aviation, and the Airlander, which is uniquely suited to Arctic conditions, is very much in keeping with their vision for new, ultra-efficient technologies such as electric airplanes, and alternatives to Jet A1 fuel. “We are creating change by promoting less travel,” they say. “Once-in-a-lifetime journeys with a clear environmental focus.” The kind of travel we can all get behind.
