Champion of Women Awards returns
Following 2017’s inaugural event, the Champion of Women Awards returns this October to celebrate inspirational women and raise more money for charity
Founded by Dovetail Agency MD Jayne Alexander in celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary, the Champion of Women Awards recognise the achievements and compassion of women who support other women and young girls, and have excelled in their field of business across television and film, sport and fitness, fashion and beauty, travel and lifestyle, medicine and finance.
Following its inaugural Awards last September, it returns this Friday 5 October in the stunning art deco ballroom at The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel in London. Tickets are on sale now, priced £125 each, with tables for 10 at £1,250. All proceeds raised are in support of cancer charity Maggie’s Centres, which provides practical and emotional support to those living with cancer. The dress code, incidentally, is fun and fabulous!
Last September’s Awards were attended by nearly 400 guests, who raised more than £100,000 for Maggie’s. Hosted by TV personality Gethin Jones, the awards were presented by sports presenter Gabby Logan, Loose Women presenter Andrea McLean and Kate Reardon, editor of Tatler. Guests enjoyed live entertainment, a three-course lunch, pop-ups from luxury lifestyle brands with a donation to Maggie’s on each purchase, a silent auction and raffle.
