Legions of beauty brands have been pitching in to help ease the global pandemic AND NOW MOLTON BROWN HAS JOINED THEIR RANKS.

L’Oréal is giving free haircuts to frontline medical workers in the Philippines; New York’s Milk Makeup donated every dollar they made on 10 April to the NYC COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund; Clarins is making hand sanitiser for hospitals; and the Body Shop is donating 225,000 beauty products to UK hospitals, including face masks, shea body scrubs and body lotions. And now British fragrance and cosmetics brand Molton Brown has joined their ranks.

They’re sending 3,000 bottles of hand lotion to hospitals across England and Wales and they’ve also given away thousands of complimentary Ultra Pure Milk Soaps to customers online and in-store. Some 95,000 soaps were donated free, to make that vital handwashing that bit more pleasant.  And Molton Brown’s efforts don’t stop there. The brand has also donated 25,000 Ultra Pure Milk Soaps to Beauty Banks, who send personal care and hygiene products to charities throughout the UK, to be given to people who urgently need them. Other beauty brands who have given to Beauty Banks include Sisley, who have donated 40,000 face masks, Kiehls and Estee Lauder. Said President of Molton Brown, Mark Johnson, “Since 1971, the brand has had at its very heart a duty of care – to its customers, its employees and beyond that, to the community at large. We’ve weathered turbulent times before, and it’s through looking after each other and putting people first that we will get through this critical situation. We remain fully committed to the safety and wellbeing of all, and we will continue to seek out other ways of helping those in need and those who are very vulnerable during this difficult time.”
